The Becker Milk Company Limited Sale Process Update

The Becker Milk Company Limited (the "Company" or "Beckers") (TSX:BEK.B)
announces that PriceWaterhouseCoopers Real Estate Inc. ("PWC") has completed the
initial steps in its retainer to explore the possible sale of the Company. PWC
has canvassed potentially interested parties and is now proceeding with
discussions with a short list of potential acquirers. Interested parties who are
on the short list have been granted access to the data room of the Company. 


The Board of Beckers reserves the right to alter any aspect of the process or to
terminate it at any time and in such cases will make an announcement if
appropriate. The Board of Beckers also reserves the right to reject any approach
or terminate discussions with any interested party or participant at any time.
There can be no certainty that any sale will be concluded, nor as to the terms
on which a sale may be completed. 


The Company currently owns and manages 67 retail commercial properties
throughout southern Ontario with the majority of locations leased to Mac's.
Mac's is owned and operated by Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.
