related notes and management's discussion and analysis for the year ended

Ascendant is also pleased to announce that this year's annual meeting of
shareholders, hosted by the Company's President and CEO, Gary E. Davis, will be
held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. EDT in Toronto, Ontario.
