Traton Group said that it plans to invest over 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion) into research to progress digitization by 2024.
The Volkswagen AG (VOW.XE) subsidiary said that it is aiming to put substantially more than a million trucks on the road with network capacity by 2025.
The company said that the use of networked commercial vehicles could help drive efficiency and increase capacity utilization.
