--Volkswagen is exploring potential investments in Chinese automotive suppliers, as it seeks access to key technology in the world's largest car market, Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter.
--Options under discussion include buying equity stakes or forging joint ventures with Chinese suppliers, and the German auto maker has been examining several possible targets including battery maker Guoxuan High-Tech Co., Bloomberg says.
--No final decisions have been made, and there is no certainty the deliberations will lead to a transaction, the sources told Bloomberg.
