--Volkswagen's Spanish car brand Seat expects its chief executive to leave following an offer to take the helm at from France's Renault, Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia reported over the weekend.
--Renault has offered Luca De Meo the chief executive position, with the commitment to take over responsibility for its alliance with Nissan and Mitsubishi after two years, as well, La Vanguardia says.
--Neither Seat nor Renault have confirmed De Meo leaving, but there is concern within Seat about the almost-certain departure, according to La Vanguardia.
