                         Statement Regarding Suspension

Dealings in Voss Net plc's shares were suspended on 27 May 2003 at the Company's
request.

The company is facing severe cash flow constraints brought about by a payment
dispute with City and Islington College, the centre where the majority of the
Company's Learndirect training takes place.

The Company issues monthly invoices to the College which are then factored. The
factoring company has informed Voss Net that the amounts outstanding under those
invoices have been confirmed by the College.

The Government funded company that owns Learndirect (Ufi) has become involved in
this dispute and has appointed outside auditors to resolve the situation with
the College. However, the findings of this external audit review, which has not
yet started, are not expected for some considerable time and the College has
indicated that no payments will be made until the findings are known.

The Company is urgently considering with its advisers the options open to it in
these circumstances and will make a further announcement in due course.
