Tommy Hilfiger Unveils Its First H Hilfiger Ad Campaign Starring David Bowie and
Iman
NEW YORK, Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Tommy Hilfiger unveiled today his highly
anticipated new H Hilfiger advertising campaign featuring rock icon David Bowie
and supermodel wife Iman in their first-ever campaign together. The sleek new
campaign for spring 2004 features the superstar couple wearing the recently
launched premium apparel line, H Hilfiger.

Shot against the backdrop of the luxurious and stately Amstel Hotel in
Amsterdam, H Hilfiger's spring 2004 campaign captures the dynamic couple wearing
beautiful tailored pieces and sharing playful moments together in a relaxed
environment. The moodof the campaign is markedly sophisticated and elegant.
Though the highly stylized H Hilfiger campaign marks a departure from the Tommy
Hilfiger sportswear and Tommy Jeans campaigns, it remains true to the youthful
and spirited attitude of the Tommy Hilfiger brand.
"David Bowie and Iman are a living illustration of my belief that fashion and
music go hand in hand with a unique synergy. They are an ageless couple with an
amazing chemistry that make the images really come alive," said Tommy Hilfiger.
"This is our first ad campaign to be shot in black and white, which is totally
new for us, and it's a perfect way to make a bold statement to launch our new H
collection."
Created by Doug Lloyd and in-house creative director Dustin Horowitz, and shot
by famed photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, the campaign makes a strong visual
impact with modern, well-tailored clothes that seamlessly transition from day to
night. The H Hilfiger philosophy is about fitting the needs of the modern
lifestyle, and the ad campaign communicates that by reflecting the timeless,
universal appeal of Tommy Hilfiger's classic designs.
The campaign will first appear in April premium magazines, including Harper's
Bazaar, Vogue, W, InStyle, Vanity Fair, Esquire, GQ, Interview and Rolling
Stone.
