Tiger Telematics Signs Gizmondo Deal With Loudeye's European
Subsidiary OD2 Europe's Leading Digital Distributor of Music
LONDON, July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gizmondo Europe Ltd, subsidiary of
Jacksonville, FL based Tiger Telematics Inc (TIGR) announced today an agreement
with Europe's leading digital distributor of music, On Demand Distribution
(OD2), a subsidiary of Loudeye Corp. The comprehensive deal gives Gizmondo
access to a massive catalogue of music.
In addition to over 1.3 million cleared tracks from over 12,000 artists, the
OD2 deal includes the development and management of a Gizmondo-branded music
site solution and digital logistics, ensuring everything will be up and running
for the Gizmondo launch later this year.

The OD2 distribution system is Microsoft-based, further ensuring seamless
compatibility with Gizmondo's Microsoft Windows CE.net platform. The device has
a 2.8-inch TFT color screen with an ARM9 400Mhz processor and incorporates a
64-bit graphics accelerator. Besides the MP3 music player, the device provides
cutting-edge gaming, multimedia messaging, MPEG-4 movie playing capability, a
digital camera and a GPRS network link to allow wide-area network gaming.
Additionally, it contains a GPS chip for location-based services and is
equipped with Bluetooth for use in multi-player gaming and accepts MMC card
accessories.
