Telecom Argentina Group Announces New Organizational Structure

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, April 12  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Telecom Argentina Group, the operator that leads the transformation of the telecommunications industry in Argentina, announced a new organizational model, aiming to facilitate the synergies among fixed and mobile communications, broadband and content.

The Telecom Argentina Group is, therefore, positioned as the first telecommunications player in Argentina to implement this type of organizational model.

Under this new model, the business is conducted under a unified vision, under the responsibility of a General Operations Director, Mr. Marco Patuano. Mr. Patuano will have the responsibility of four main units: Mobile, Network, Fixed-line Residential & SME's, and Fixed-line Corporations and Wholesale.

Corporate functions have been grouped in a General Corporate Direction, under the interim responsibility of Carlos Felices. Mr. Felices, additionally, maintains his position as Chief Executive Officer of the Group.

This announcement does not imply any merger among the Companies of the Group, nor any modification in the corporate status of any of the Companies.
