BOARD CHANGE

Teather & Greenwood Holdings Plc ("Teather & Greenwood" or the "Company") is
delighted to announce today the appointment of The Right Honorable Lord Baker of
Dorking as a non-executive director.  Lord Baker has had a distinguished
political career during which his Cabinet posts have included Environment
Secretary, Education Secretary and Home Secretary.  He is currently Chairman of
Business Serve Plc and also a non-executive director of Hanson Plc, Millenium
Chemicals Inc, and Stanley Leisure Plc.  He is a member of the European Advisory
Board of the American investment house, Cross Border Enterprises LLC.

Commenting on his appointment, Lord Baker said "I am extremely pleased to be
invited to become a non-executive director of Teather & Greenwood, which I
believe is well placed to benefit strongly from the opportunities now 
available".
