RNS Number:8496S Springboard PLC 04 December 2003 Springboard plc AGM statement and Board Changes The company is pleased to announce that at the AGM of the company held yesterday all resolutions were duly passed. The company commented on trading across the portfolio. "In the first quarter of our 2004 financial year, we have seen continued progress within the core portfolio. The annualised turnover generated by these companies was substantially higher than that achieved in 2003, and they produced an aggregate pre-tax profit in the period for the first time. Due to the mix of our shareholdings, Springboard's look through earnings still showed a small loss." As mentioned our preliminary announcement in September, Chairman Brian North retired from the Board following the AGM. The Board would like to thank Brian for his contribution to Springboard since the establishment of the company in 1998. Brian leaves us at a time where we are now witnessing good progress across our portfolio and we are all grateful for his support and guidance during the initial phases of the Company. Stephen Ross was appointed Chairman and Simon Smith became CEO, with effect from completion of the AGM yesterday For further information please contact Simon Smith, Stephen Ross or Gerard Downes on 0207 004 2600 This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock Exchange END AGMUUGUGPUPWUBC
