                                  DIRECTORATE

The Board of SpringHealth Leisure plc announces that Mr John Lowther is leaving
the position of Chief Executive and resigning as a Director of the Company to
pursue another business opportunity with effect from 30 June 2003.  He leaves
with the best wishes of the Board for his future career and grateful thanks for
his contribution over the last two years.

Eric Lowry, who has been a Director of the Company for the last 15 years, will
assume the position of Chief Executive.
