Regent Inns plc (the "Company")
Result of Extraordinary General Meeting
The Company is pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary General Meeting
held today the special resolution put to shareholders to effect the Firm Placing
and the Placing and Open Offer was duly passed.
The 21,686,747 New Ordinary Shares (the subject of the Firm Placing and the
Placing and Open Offer) are expected to be admitted to listing on the Official
List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's market for listed
securities at 8:00 a.m. on 3 December 2003.
