                              Appointment of a Director

Quayle Munro Holdings PLC has today appointed Miriam Greenwood as an executive
director with effect from 10 November 2003.

She is joining Quayle Munro to establish a debt advisory business, which will be
complementary to its successful corporate advisory and PFI activities.  She
joins from British Linen Advisers of which she was a founder director and where
she built up the debt advisory and corporate finance business.

Miriam Greenwood OBE DL has worked for SG Warburg, Hill Samuel, Morgan Grenfell
and Deutsche Bank.  During her career she has been closely involved in the
development of a number of specialised financial instruments, including the
first interest rate swap and the establishment of a Sterling Commercial Paper
market in the UK.  Miriam is a Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh and a
member of the Court of Governors of Napier University.

Jo Elliot, Chief Executive of Quayle Munro Holdings, said:

advisory specialism, which will extend the scope of services which Quayle Munro
can offer in an area of growing importance.  To support these activities, we
plan to establish a London office, which will help us service our increasing

As at the date of this announcement Miriam Valerie Greenwood has no beneficial
interest in the ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of the Company.
