Director's dealings

Protherics announces that on 12 December 2003 D W Gration exercised options over
129,620 ordinary shares of 2p each (comprising 0.06% of the Protherics issued
share capital as enlarged by such exercise). The options, issued under the
Protherics Unapproved Option Scheme had an exercise price of 41.66p per share,
and an expiry date of 22 January 2004.

Application is being made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock
Exchange for admission to the Official List of 129,620 ordinary shares of 2p
("Admission").

D W Gration has also contracted to sell the same number of shares at a price of
48.5 pence per share and the shares will be transferred upon Admission.
Protherics was notified of the sale on 12 December 2003. Mr Gration remains
interested in options over 90,000 ordinary shares of 2p each with an exercise
price of 46 pence per share expiring 21 June 2008 and 42,941 ordinary shares of
2p each (comprising 0.02% of the Protherics issued share capital following the
exercise of options referred to above).
