RNS Number:0291J Parkman Group PLC 21 March 2003 For Immediate Release 21 March 2003 PARKMAN GROUP PLC Pre-close Trading Update Parkman Group plc ("Parkman"), the rapidly expanding professional support services group, is reporting on its trading progress, prior to entering the close period in respect of the financial year ending 31 March 2003. Parkman has experienced a buoyant first quarter to 2003, continuing the strong trading of 2002. A number of contract wins have increased the Group's order book by #40m over this period. As a result of these successes, Parkman's forward order book is now at a record #133m. Turnover to the end of February 2003 shows strong year on year growth. It is expected that the results for the current financial year will therefore be in line with market expectations. Parkman's bidding pipeline currently stands at #150m, more than double the level of twelve months ago. The outlook in the Group's core markets, both in outsourcing and in consultancy, continues to be good, leaving Parkman well placed to deliver a strong performance in the financial year to March 2004 and beyond. Preliminary results for the financial year ending March 2003 are due to be announced on June 16th.
