                         NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY RESULTS



The Peacock Group plc will be announcing its preliminary results for the 52
weeks to the 31 March 2003 on Wednesday 28 May 2003.  An analyst presentation
will be held at the offices of Hudson Sandler, 29 Cloth Fair, London, EC1A 7NN
at 11.00am on the day.
