                            Newsplayer Group PLC
Announces new distribution partnership with KPN Royal Dutch Telecom

Newsplayer Group PLC ("NPG") today announces that it has signed a new agreement
with leading Dutch telecommunications company, KPN, to license its extensive
streaming media archive of fully searchable video footage.

KPN will pay licence fees to NPG for the Newsplayer, PureWorldCup, Screenplayer
and VideoTV streaming archives, which it will make available to its ADSL
subscribers.

The historical entertainment footage, which covers major news events, great
sporting moments, Hollywood documentaries and chart-topping music, will
constitute part of a free, new content service offered by KPN. The service,
which will be launched in October 2003, will be free from advertising, allowing
customers unhindered access to a video rich area.

Subscribers will have unlimited access to the service and will be able to
search, play and create play-lists of favourite clips. The service will also
include "spotlights" on select moments and figures in history from across the
archives. Users will be able to view the archives at 300 kbps using the
Microsoft Media player format.

Commenting, Paul Duffen, CEO of NPG, said:

"We have been steadily building our archives of digital video content to the
point where we believe we have one of the most comprehensive collections
available. This agreement with KPN highlights the leading role that NPG will
play in the broadband video-on-demand world as it continues to develop."
