              Grant of Options under the Company Share Option Plan


The Company announces that on 2 December 2003 it granted options ("Options")
under its Company Share Option Plan over ordinary shares in the Company at an
option price of 0.55p per share to the following Directors:

Andrew Gannon                                                9,750,000
Geoffrey Griggs                                              9,750,000
James Andrews                                                  725,000
Timothy Childs                                               1,750,000

The relevant Directors have waived their previous option entitlements as set out
below.

These options are normally exercisable between 2 and 10 years from the date of
grant (or earlier at the discretion of the Board). Options granted to Keith
Young, Andrew Gannon and Geoffrey Griggs have been granted under the provisions
of the Enterprise Management Incentive Scheme ("EMI") to take advantage of the
favourable tax treatment offered by the Scheme.
