Amanda Tapping's First Child With 'The Mother of All Contests'
Long-Running Hit Series' Fans Invited to Guess Date and Time of Birth to Win

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- In honor of "Stargate SG-1" star Amanda
Tapping, who is expecting her first child in March, MGM Television is giving
away a Grand Prize to the fan who comes closest to guessing the exact date and
time Tapping gives birth, it was announced today. The "official" due date
given by Tapping's doctor is March 14. "The Mother of All Contests" will award
one lucky winner the Grand Prize for coming closest to the exact date and time
of birth (including seconds), Pacific Time, which includes an autographed
script from a "Stargate SG-1" episode, an autographed "Stargate SG-1" logo
sweatshirt, and Seasons One through Seven of the hit series on DVD. In
addition, Boxed sets of Season Seven of "Stargate SG-1" will be awarded to ten
First Prize Winners -- those whose guesses fall closest in proximity to the
exact date and time of birth behind that of the Grand Prize winner.

Currently the longest-running sci-fi drama on American television, "Stargate
