Mellon Treasury Services Schedules Free Cyberconference on New Liquidity
Management Service
PITTSBURGH, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- "A New Online Solution to
Short-Term Investing," a free cyberconference presented by Mellon Treasury
Services to outline its new Liquidity Management Service (LMS), will take place
on Wednesday, November 12 from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Registration for the event,
which will explore the benefits of the solution, can be done online at

LMS is a comprehensive, Web-based investment tool that enables clients to
purchase money market funds and securities online, in addition to providing
extensive investment and performance reporting capabilities. LMS, expected to
be available for commercial introduction by the end of 2003, is offered by
Mellon Financial Markets, LLC (MFM), Mellon's full-service broker-dealer, and is
accessed through Mellon Global Cash Management (GCM), Mellon's treasury
management business.
LMS is available through iTelecash(SM), Mellon GCM's online information
reporting and transaction initiation service, and the investment transactions
are provided by MFM.
Other upcoming cyberconferences hosted by Mellon GCM include:
- "ARC - Lessons Learned" on Wednesday, November 19 from 1 p.m. to
2:15 p.m. Participants will discuss the benefits of Accounts
Receivable Check Conversion, which converts checks into ACH debits in a
lockbox environment. Earlier this year, Mellon GCM completed its
successful ARC pilot and has since rolled out this solution to other
locations in its nationwide retail lockbox system.
- "Expanding Your Card Program to Include Travel and Entertainment" on
Wednesday, December 10 from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Discussion will
center on the benefits of a single card with both purchasing and
travel capabilities, as well as the rewards of migrating to a one-card
provider with the ability to provide electronic reporting.
