OPERATIONS OF THE INTERNET COMPANY M.I.A., a.s., WILL FINISH AT  THE END OF THIS
YEAR


Active operations of M.I.A., a.s., an Internet company that provides services in
the sphere of Internet advertising and Sponsored SMSes, will finish on
31.12.2003. CESKY TELECOM, which owns 100% of this company, made this decision.



CESKY TELECOM's purpose for doing so is to improve the company's efficiency,
simplify and clarify its management structure, and subsequently improve the
quality of its services. This involves a gradual reduction of subsidiary
activities, including M.I.A.'s activities, that are not part of the main sphere
of activity.



All the obligations that M.I.A. is bound to through current contracts and
ensuing commerce will be fulfilled by the company.



Over the last few years, M.I.A., a.s., has operated on the market primarily in
three fundamental fields: acquiring and providing advertisements on the
Internet, comprehensive marketing and PR services on the Internet, and
advertisement sales to Sponsored  SMSes.
