ANNOUNCEMENT





CESKY TELECOM, a.s., announces that it has received a notification from
Telsource N.V. on December 2, 2003, according to which Telsource N.V. and the
National Property Fund of the Czech Republic ceased to act in concert with
respect to CESKY TELECOM as of December 1, 2003. Consequently, Telsource N.V.
continues, as of December 1, 2003,  to hold voting rights in CESKY TELECOM,
a.s., amounting to 26,99 %.
