WHAT: City officials and KB Home executives will break ground today
on one of the largest single-family residential developments
ever built in the City of Los Angeles. The development -- The
Legends at Cascades -- will include a total of 550 for-sale
residential units bordering the Cascades Golf Course. The
property is located within splashing distance of the famous
Sylmar Cascades, where in 1930 William Mulholland proclaimed
"There it is, take it," as water cascaded for the first time
through the final leg of the Los Angeles Aqueduct into the City
of Los Angeles.
