                                 Trading Update


Imprint Search & Selection plc ('Imprint' or 'the Company'), the branded
multi-disciplined search and selection business quoted on the Alternative
Investment Market, is issuing this trading statement ahead of its results for
the six months ended 30 June 2003, scheduled for release on 26 August 2003.

Imprint's trading results, as highlighted at the time of the AGM, have continued
to improve despite the difficult trading environment, and the Board expects to
report operating profits for the six months ended 30 June 2003 that are in line
with expectations.

Imprint has continued to grow its market share by winning new clients, further
developing existing clients and broadening its sector offerings.  Both the
retained order book and the pipeline of future prospects continue to strengthen.
In light of this, the Board believes that the Company's improved financial
performance will be sustained through the second half of 2003.
