                                 Board change

ID Data plc announces that Paul Knight has now stepped down from the Board today
in order to pursue academic interests.

Peter Cox, Chief Executive of ID Data, said: "The Board would like to thank Paul
for his significant contributions, particularly in founding TTi, our joint
venture business with Toshiba and Toppan.  We wish him all the best with his
future activities."
