HONEYCOMBE LEISURE PLC
DISPOSALS
Honeycombe Leisure PLC announces that it has exchanged contracts for the sale of
the Hare & Hounds in Bowland Bridge and surplus land adjacent to the Royal Hotel
in Kirkby Lonsdale. Total proceeds are #1.05 million, which equates to book
value, and will be applied to further reduce borrowings.
Paul Snape, Finance Director of Honeycombe commented:
"The effects of these disposals on profits will be negligible: the Hare &
Hounds is one of a limited number of non-core trading units, producing below
average returns, earmarked for disposal, together with further surplus
non-trading assets. Negotiations on these are continuing and the Board expects
to make further announcements in due course."
