GOVETT ENHANCED INCOME INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

The Directors announce that they have declared a third interim dividend of 2.0
pence per ordinary share in respect of the period ending 31 March 2004. The
dividend, which will absorb #907,065, will be paid on 28 November 2003 to all
persons registered as holders of ordinary shares of the company at the close of
business on 14 November 2003.
