                      GLEESON ADMITTED TO FTSE4GOOD INDEX


MJ Gleeson, the construction services, homes and property group, has been
included in the FTSE's socially responsible investment index series, the
FTSE4Good. At the index review on 17 March, it was confirmed that MJ Gleeson
meets the FTSE4Good index entry criteria and, as of the close of business last
Friday, 21 March, the Company was admitted to the index.

the performance of companies that meet globally accepted international standards
