today began trading common shares of the Gabelli Global Gold, Natural Resources
& Income Trust under the ticker symbol GGN.
The Gabelli Global Gold, Natural Resources & Income Trust, the second
closed-end fund launched by Gabelli Asset Management's investment company
advisory subsidiary, Gabelli Funds, LLC, to list on the Amex, is a newly
organized, non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The

Under normal market conditions, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its assets

Income Trust to the American Stock Exchange," said Tom Rzepski, vice president
of the Amex's closed-end fund business. "The Amex looks forward to a long and
collaborative relationship with Gabelli Funds as it continues to deliver
innovative investment opportunities to investors."
The Fund is issuing 16.6 million common shares at an initial price of $20 per
share, resulting in gross proceeds of $332 million, exclusive of the
underwriters' over-allotments. The lead manager of the underwriting syndicate
was Citigroup and the specialist for GGN is HBH Specialists.
