Chairman's Statement at the AGM and Grant of Share Options

The Company announces that at its Annual General Meeting held earlier today, all
the resolutions put to shareholders were duly passed and the Chairman, Leslie
Hurst, made the following statement:


"We were pleased to be able to report once again a substantial uplift in
turnover and operating profits in our core gaming business last year. The
benefits of the acquisitions we have made are becoming very apparent not least
in the contribution they are making to a robust positive operating cashflow.
This has given us the flexibility to strengthen significantly our senior
management resource through the appointment of Nick Watkins as Group Chief
Executive. With a number of new business opportunities to work on within our
sector your board view this as an important measure to underpin these growth
initiatives.

Trading in our core business in the new financial year has proved to be
satisfactory and has provided a good foundation for our half year which ends on
31st October".

In addition, the board today approved the grant of 6.5 million EMI options, at
an exercise price of 1.5 pence per share, to Nick Watkins under the Company's
unapproved executive share option scheme. These options are exercisable between
3 and 10 years from today and subject to certain performance targets being met.
