CHC signs expanded $40 million contract in Baku
ST. JOHN'S, NL, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CHC Helicopter Corporation
("CHC") (TSX: FLY.A and FLY.B; NYSE: FLI) announced today it has been awarded
an expanded three-year contract, plus two-year option, by BP for the provision
of one dedicated Sikorsky S-61 and two dedicated S-76 aircraft in Baku,
Azerbaijan to service offshore oil and gas fields in the Caspian Sea. The
contract, valued at approximately $40 million over the initial three-year
period, replaces an existing contract for one S-61 and one S-76 aircraft.
