         Expomedia and Informa significantly expand their co-operation

                            across five key markets


Expomedia Group Plc and Informa Group Plc have signed a milestone agreement that
will result in a significant strengthening of their current co-operation, with
the launch of an extensive conference programme across five key markets.   This
strategic agreement is a natural progression from their previous agreements
which included the 'Wireless Russia' conference, the 'Transport and Logistics
Russia' and 'Seafood Russia' exhibitions and the 'Doing Business in Iraq'
conference series.


This latest agreement will see a series of specialised international
conferences, that Informa has developed in established industry sectors, brought
to Russia, Poland, India, Hungary and North West Africa.  Informa Professional
Information Group (IPIG), a trading division of Informa UK Ltd, has established
an internationally recognised conference portfolio which includes banking and
finance, insurance, legal, oil and gas and healthcare.   The agreement will also
introduce cloned editions of the conferences into London where there is a
market.  CEE Exhibitions, Expomedia's event organising division will handle all
local sales, marketing and operational activities and will work to secure local
government and association support in the host countries.

across a wide range of topics that will see us bring at least 5 to 10 new
conferences to each of these important markets in the coming year, with almost
unlimited scope for future conferences in the longer term.  This is a
