Eaton Vance Floating-Rate Income Trust Annual Meeting Of Shareholders

BOSTON, Dec. 14  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At a meeting held on December 14, 2009, the Board of Trustees of Eaton Vance Floating-Rate Income Trust (the "Fund") (NYSE:EFT), a closed-end investment company, voted to hold the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of the Fund on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. (EST). The meeting will be held at the principal office of the Fund, Two International Place, Boston, Massachusetts 02110. Proxy materials will be mailed on or about January 26, 2010 to shareholders of record on January 11, 2010. Shareholders will be asked to vote on the election of three Class III Trustees of the Fund.
