DataWorld Solutions, Inc. Appoints Philip J. Rauch as its Chief Operating
Officer
Company Expands Management Team to Support Growth
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DataWorld Solutions, Inc.,
(PinkSheets: DWLD), announced today thatit has appointed Philip J. Rauch to the
position of Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Mr.
Rauch is expected to help the Company expand its cable and defense products
operations. Prior to joining DataWorld, he was Vice President and Controller,
and Vice President of Business Operations of AboveNet, Inc. (formerly Metromedia
Fiber Network, Inc.), an international network infrastructure services provider
with facilities in over a dozen US cities, Europe and Asia.

While at AboveNet, Mr. Rauch was responsible for business operations, sales
support, product pricing, and contract administration, where he negotiated
contracts representing over $2.5 billion in revenue. He received the 2000
"Achievers Club" and the 1999 "Outstanding Performance" awards from the Company
in recognition of his contributions to the organization. Mr. Rauch began his
career at AboveNet as the Director of Business Planning where he worked on the
Company's Initial Public Offering and subsequent high-yield debt offering.
Mr. Rauch has also held positions as Vice President, Controller of Columbus
Construction, a heavy construction company with several plant facilities, as
well as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of F. Garofalo Electric Co.,
a Local 3 IBEW engineering and construction company.
Mr. Rauch earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from the University
of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, with a concentration in finance and
accounting. He also earned a certificate in Construction Management from the
Institute of Design and Construction in New York. A long-standing resident of
Long Island, Mr. Rauch is a member of the American Management Association and
the Construction Financial Management Association.
