American Stock Exchange Lists Common Stock of Desert Sun Mining
Corporation
NEW YORK, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R))
today listed the common stock of Desert Sun Mining Corporation under the ticker
symbol DEZ.
Desert Sun Mining is an emerging gold mining company focused on reactivating
operations and production at the Jacobina mine in northeastern Brazil.
Production is planned to commence in Q1 2005. The company is also involved in
the exploration and development of the 100 mile long Bahia Gold Belt in
northeastern Brazil on which the Jacobina mine is located.
