                      DCS GROUP PLC ("DCS" OR "THE GROUP")

                             UPDATE ON FUNDRAISING


The Board of DCS announces that, in light of current market conditions, it has
decided not to proceed with the planned fundraising announced on 21 February
2003.


Offer discussions with BSOFTB plc have also ceased.


DCS' principal lenders, Barclays Bank plc, remain supportive of the Group and
the Group is in discussions with Barclays concerning the level and the terms of
ongoing facilities.
