Centennial Specialty Foods Expands Into Northern California
DENVER, May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Centennial Specialty Foods
Corporation (NASDAQ:CHLE)(BSE:CSJ) announced today it has secured expanded
distribution through Albertsons grocery stores in Northern California. The new
Albertsons stores will start carrying five varieties of Stokes Green Chile
products in approximately 180 stores throughout Northern California. Shipment
of the new products into the region will begin immediately, with the products
expected to hit shelves within 30 to 45 days following shipment.
The distribution through Albertsons is an addition to the existing distribution
in Northern California through Safeway and Super Savers Industries. Centennial
is beginning consumer marketing in California to increase product and brand
awareness. The initial consumer marketing program will include product
demonstrations and print advertising
"The addition of the Northern California Albertsons division means that Stokes
Green Chile Sauces will soon be available in almost 700 Albertsons stores
throughout the Southwest United States," said Bob Beckwith, Chief Marketing
