RNS Number:8925M Campus Media PLC 27 June 2003 Campus Media plc ("Campus Media" or the "Company") In the interim statement issued on 30 April 2003 the directors of Campus Media noted that the Company had made positive strides in the development of its business since its flotation on the AIM market in February 2002. The directors indicated their confidence in Campus Media's ability to deliver a unique proposition that will see the Company become pre-eminent in the student marketing arena - an area which the directors believe to have massive commercial potential. The Company also announced on that date a 5-year agreement with EMAP Advertising Limited relating to the sale of commercial airtime and sponsorship for the Company's subsidiary, SBN Limited, which operates The Student Broadcast Network. Since the date of the interim statement, the directors have been satisfied with the commercial development of the business and are pleased to note that the agreement with EMAP is already generating additional revenue in line with the board's expectations. Additionally, the Board is pleased to report that signs of a modest uplift in the wider commercial environment has led to a substantial increase in interest in the Group's student marketing products and services. As a consequence of the delays in revenue generation that were noted in the interim statement the Directors of Campus Media have determined that the Company will need to raise additional funds to continue in its current form. As a consequence the Company is now holding discussions with its shareholders and other parties with a view to raising additional funds required to cover the shortfall in working capital and to continue the development of the Group's activities. The Board will report further on these discussions in due course. This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock Exchange END TSTSEEFLWSDSELM
