Foote Promoted to Vice President at Conseco

CARMEL, Ind., July 29  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Conseco, Inc. (NYSE:CNO) announced that Christopher J. Foote has been promoted to vice president, asset-liability management.

Foote, 51, joined Conseco in 1999 and served previously as senior managing actuary for asset-liability management. He reports to Tim Tongson, senior vice president of corporate and shared actuarial services.

"Asset-liability management - the practice of coordinating decisions related to assets and liabilities - is vital to the success of our business," Tongson said. Before Conseco, Foote served in various actuarial management positions at Great American Life, Union Central Life and Aetna Life & Casualty.  A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, he holds a B.S. degree in statistics from the University of Akron.
