RNS Number:2906T BKN International AG 16 December 2003 Press Release 16 December 2003 BKN International A.G. completes first AIM fast track of a German Company BKN International A.G. ("BKN" or "the Company"), a global animation company engaged in the distribution and marketing of animated children's television programmes and related consumer products, today announces the listing of its existing shares on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange plc. BKN is the first German company, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, to obtain admission to AIM under the London Stock Exchange's new "fast track" procedure. This week BKN is also completing a share capital increase through a rights offering and placing of up to 4.2 million shares. Several large existing shareholders, including the Chairman of the management board, have already agreed to subscribe for up to 2.1 million shares of the rights issue, or 50 per cent of the entire offering to the extent not taken up by existing shareholders or new investors. The Company will also be applying for these new shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. This placing will allow the Company to expand and consolidate its business in the UK and Europe, and market its forthcoming feature production, "Legend of the Dragon" Allen Bohbot, Chairman and Chief Executive of BKN International A.G., said: "Our fast track arrival onto AIM is a significant milestone for BKN and we believe that a presence in the UK will provide us with an opportunity to create, as well as produce locally, original high quality new content that we can market globally." Richard Ungar has agreed to be Executive Producer to BKN, responsible for the new "Legend of the Dragon" series. Richard has worked for many years in the children's animation and production business, and was recently President of The Marvel Character Group where he was involved in the executive production of Marvel's highly successful animation schedule, including the "X-Men: Evolution" and "Spider-Man", the animated series.
