New Jersey American Water Launches Online Service for Customers

H20 Web Portals Allows Customers to Manage Account 24 Hours a Day


CHERRY HILL, N.J., Dec. 14  /PRNewswire/ -- New Jersey American Water residential customers are accustomed to the convenience of 24-hour customer service, but a new website is making it easier for those customers to manage their accounts quickly and easily at a time convenient for them.

The new site, http://www.amwater.com/myh2o, enables customers to take care of some of the most common reasons they have contacted the company in the past, from requesting appointments for turning service on or off to managing their account, checking their balance and paying their bills. Customers with more than one property will be able to see all of their accounts at a glance.

"Customers who can use the site will benefit from taking care of these tasks when it's most convenient for them. Any New Jersey American Water residential customer can sign up for an online account and begin using that account. All they need is the address of the property and the account number found on their most-recent billing statement, Bigelow said.
