Water Conservation is Especially Important as Temperatures Soar to Triple Digit Teens

During excessive heat it is important to keep your body hydrated while watching your high water use out doors. Doing smart simple things can help you stay hydrated, save money and conserve water at home.

  --  Only water landscapes early in the morning or late in the evening, not
      in the heat of the day - this reduces evaporation
  --  Take shorter showers
  --  Stay inside and shut off your misters
  --  Shut off the water while using the bathroom or kitchen sink
  --  Use washing machine and dishwasher only when full

  --  Last but not least drink plenty of water- adding lemon or cucumbers
      for variety
