RNS Number:2038P AWG PLC 01 September 2003 For immediate release 1 September 2003 AWG Plc Anglian Water Services announces draft business scenarios for 2005-2010 As part of Ofwat's periodic review of prices, Anglian Water Services, part of AWG Plc, today announces its draft business scenarios for the period 2005-10. In the three scenarios requested by Ofwat, Anglian Water has identified future investment options and proposed a preferred strategy to improve services to customers, cater for growth and, most importantly, to ensure that the underlying infrastructure, particularly the pipes and sewers, is properly maintained. The submission of draft business scenarios is the first stage in a review process that will run until early 2005. Customers, as well as other stakeholders, are invited to comment on the proposals. Ofwat is expected to announce final price limits in November 2004, which will then take effect from April 2005.
