             Advanced Technology (UK) Plc ("the Company" or "ATL")

                              Issue of new shares

Between 17 November 2003 and 26 November 2003 ATL has received validly executed
notices of exercise in respect of 284,153 bonus warrants ("Bonus Warrants").
Bonus Warrants were issued to shareholders pursuant to the arrangements set out
in the Company's circular dated 21 November 2002 and approved by shareholders on
17 December 2002. Each Bonus Warrant entitles the holder to subscribe for one
new ordinary share at a price of 10p per share.

In addition, ATL has received validly executed notices of the exercise of
100,000 Adviser's Warrants. Each Warrant entitles the holder to convert Warrants
into Ordinary Shares at the rate of one new Ordinary Share for each 10p Warrant
converted.

Accordingly the Company has today allotted 384,153 new ordinary shares of 5p
each in the capital of the Company. Application has been made for admission to
AIM of such new ordinary shares. Admission is expected to take place on 02
December 2003.
