New Television Ad Extends Aflac's You Don't Know Quack Campaign


COLUMBUS, Ga., Feb. 12  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Quick: Define Aflac in 10 seconds or less. That's the challenge the company that pays cash benefits when you're sick or hurt makes in "10 Seconds," the 49th commercial starring the iconic Aflac Duck.

The spot features NASCAR driver Carl Edwards and something never seen before; a snowboarding duck.  It's part of Aflac's new, integrated You Don't Know Quack campaign and debuts during the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics.  In the spot, a snowboarding Aflac Duck challenges Edwards to explain in a mere 10 seconds how Aflac policies help protect people.

As a stop watch ticks away, Edwards hurriedly replies: "If you are sick or hurt, Aflac pays you cash -- fast -- to help pay for things major medical insurance doesn't cover -- things like car payments, mortgage and more."
