Passenger traffic
In September 2009, passenger traffic at Aéroports de Paris (Paris:ADP) (Pink Sheets:AEOPF) dropped by 4.0% compared with September 2008. Paris airports handled a total of 7.1 million passengers divided up between 5 million for Paris-Charles de Gaulle (-4.3%) and 2.1 million for Paris-Orly (-3.4%).
For the first nine months of the year, passenger traffic decreased by 5.4%. For the same period, the number of connecting passengers decreased by 3.8% resulting in a connecting rate of 24.5% (against 24.1% for the first nine months of 2008).

The number of aircraft movements saw a 6.0% decrease in September 2009 year on year (-7.0% at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and -3.7% at Paris-Orly). The passenger load factor reached 74.94% compared with 73.55% in September 2008.
