Sempra Energy on Tuesday raised its full-year adjusted earnings guidance and guided for a full-year adjusted profit in 2022.
The San Diego-based energy company said is expects adjusted earnings this year of $7.75 a share to $8.35 a share. In May, the company had guided for adjusted earnings of $7.50 a share to $8.10 a share.
Sempra also said it expects adjusted earnings next year of $8.10 a share to $8.70 a share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet were expecting 2022 adjusted earnings of $8.47 a share.
The company said the sale of a noncontrolling interest in Sempra Energy to KKR & Co. Inc. for $3.37 billion is on track to close in coming weeks.
