LMP Capital and Income Fund Inc. Announces Addition of Western Asset Management Company Limited Under Sub-Advisory Agreement

  
    
  
  
    
      LMP Capital and Income Fund Inc., which is traded on the New York Stock 
      Exchange under the symbol "SCD," announced today that the Board of 
      Directors of the Fund has appointed Western Asset Management Company 
      Limited (“Western Asset Limited”) 
      as a sub-adviser to the Fund under an additional sub-advisory agreement 
      between Western Asset Management Company (“Western 
      Asset”) and Western Asset Limited. Western 
      Asset Limited will provide certain advisory services to the Fund 
      relating to currency transactions and investments in 
      non-dollar-denominated securities. The current management fee of 0.85% 
      will remain the same; it will not increase due to the addition of 
      Western Asset Limited as a sub-adviser to the Fund, which will become 
      effective on November 30, 2006.
