Company to provide the agency with enterprise IT end-user services

The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) awarded Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) a task order on behalf of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to deliver, manage, and evolve end-user information technology (IT) services, communication and collaboration tools, and end-user devices and applications for the entire EPA enterprise. The single-award contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total award value of approximately $320 million if all options are exercised.

Awarded under the GSA’s Alliant Governmentwide Acquisition Contract, the task order utilizes an ITIL framework and covers specifically support for workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and desktop operating systems and applications. Work will be performed at Washington, DC; Research Triangle Park and Morrisville in North Carolina; SAIC’s new Technology Integration Gateway™ in Cookeville, Tennessee; and other EPA and SAIC locations nationwide.

“We are excited to be selected to provide enterprise services for the EPA under this important task order,” said Bob Genter, SAIC senior vice president and general manager of the Federal Civilian Customer Group. “The End User Services contract expands our long-standing support of the EPA and is another way for SAIC to provide the agency with mission-critical services. We are focused on delivering and maintaining secure, stable, and effective IT services that increase productivity by minimizing downtime while enhancing the work environment for users in the office and working remotely.”
